Communications/Development Officer
Who are you?
I am Communications and Development Officer at OneStonegrove. I recently graduated from Warwick where I studied a Master of Laws. In my spare time, I enjoy video games, investing my savings and relaxing. I spend a lot of my time thinking about economic policy and how we can solve the problems we face as a country from a governance and policy perspective. When I see a problem, I am always looking to understand and find a solution.
What do you do at SCT?
I am Communication and Development officer. My job is to ensure that the community is aware of everything happening at the centre. I spend some of my time at Douglas Bader Park supporting My Yard where we provide food to families and individuals in need. Since starting at SCT I have really enjoyed all the projects I have been involved in. It has been amazing meeting the staff and the community especially after lockdown. It has been a great experience personally.

Why do you love what you do?
I think just meeting all kinds of people is the great thing about this job. I can meet people from all walks of life. Nowadays this is hard to do and there is no forum to do this. All my colleagues are great and we have the freedom to pursue what I think is the correct course of action and to fix a problem. It has been a great way to keep my mind active.
