Welcome to Stonegrove Community Trust’s Warm Space! As part of the Warm Welcome Spaces campaign, we provide a cosy and welcoming environment where community members can come in from the cold, relax, and connect with others.
The Warm Welcome campaign exists to turn poverty and isolation into warmth and welcome through the power of local Spaces made by and for the community.
The dark evenings and cold winter months can be challenging for everyone. The winter is especially tough on people who feel lonely and isolated, and for anyone who can’t afford to keep heat their homes or get enough to eat.
Our Warm Space is open Monday to Friday, from 9am to 6pm, and offers a variety of services and amenities to make your visit enjoyable.
Free superfast WiFi allows you to stay connected with loved ones work remotely, or simply browse the internet. We understand the importance of being connected in today’s digital age and strive to provide access to online resources for all our visitors.
We also offer accessible toilets to ensure that everyone in the community can comfortably use our facilities. We believe in inclusivity and strive to create an environment that is accommodating to individuals with different abilities.
We provide hot drinks such as tea, coffee, and hot chocolate to keep you warm and refreshed. Our café space is a cosy spot where you can relax and enjoy a warm beverage while chatting with fellow community members or catching up on some reading.
Speaking of reading, our lending library is stocked with a variety of books for you to borrow and enjoy. From fiction to non-fiction, we have a wide range of genres to cater to different interests. Our lending library is a great resource for those who love to read and want to access books without the need for purchasing them.
If you’re looking for some relaxation and mental stimulation, our Warm Space also offers puzzles. We have a selection of puzzles, that you can enjoy while sipping on a hot drink or taking a break from work. Puzzles are a great way to unwind and engage your mind in a fun and challenging activity. There is usually a puzzle already on the go which you can join in on if you don’t want to do it all yourself.
