Our Community Connector and wider team at OneStonegrove will help you to bring your idea to life!
What we offer:
1) An initial meeting to discuss your ideas and help to develop them. We would be
happy to help you with planning, offer you tips on successful workshops and
events management. We can offer ideas, local knowledge and personal
introductions to community members.
2) We offer free space at OneStonegrove for you to test and run your activities and
projects. You’ll also have access spaces, laptops, Wi-Fi, printing facilities, and
more, providing all the resources you need to bring your ideas to life.
3) Information and knowledge about the local community, based on our
conversations over the past few years. We can help you promote your activity to
the local community via posters in the centre, in our regular newsletters and via
our social media channels and through word of mouth.

Examples of ideas from the community:
Assiya, Kacey, and Gabby, active members of the Stonegrove Estate youth
community, are determined to create a memorable prom for their Year 6 classmates.
Engaged in programs like Fuse Youth Projects and Jackson Lane Circus Skills, they
devised a plan to fundraise by hosting weekly bake sales with parents and Enda’s
support. Their dedication quickly raised nearly £1,200, securing funds for the
celebration. They rented a hall at OneStonegrove to bring their vision to life,
transforming the space into an unforgettable prom night to mark this important
milestone in their academic journey.
Summer water parties at the centre, initiated by dedicated parents, have become a
beloved tradition. Families gather for a fun-filled event featuring water battles,
delicious food, and lively music. In 2023, community funds supported five
mini-parties, providing more opportunities for families to create lasting summer
memories together.
