By hosting and/or attending an event at OneStonegrove (5 Hayling Way HA8 8BN) you agree to the below terms and conditions of this hire agreement.

Terms & Conditions and payments
SCT reserves the right to cancel any booking five days after the invoice is issued if it is not paid. At this time, we may release your slot to another hirer.
If paying by bank transfer, please email proof of payment to [email protected].
If an event is cancelled at least 30 days before the event, a full refund will be provided.
If an event is cancelled less than 30 days before the event, a credit note will be provided to be used within 16 months.
If an event is cancelled 7 days or less before the event, no refund or credit note will be provided.

Security Deposit
A £150 security deposit is charged for each event. This will be returned within ten working days following the event, subject to the below.
- Damage, breakages or loss
- Additional cleaning required (charged at £30/hour or part thereof)
- Additional time (charged at 1.5x the standard rate) before or after the booked time
- Stopping, parking, loading or unloading for any duration whatsoever on the double red lines outside the centre, or allowing guests or contractors to do so
- Parking, or allowing guests to park, in unauthorised bays or unsafely
For an improved experience, we recommend distributing the included parking guidance to your guests before the event.
Provider Liability
SCT is not responsible for any damage or loss to property.
External contractors should be adequately insured for services provided. We will request proof of such insurance.
Wicked chafing fuel may be used for heating/keeping food hot, however gel-based fuel may not. Open flame candles may be used (birthday candles or tea lights).
Use of Premises
Please respect the neighbours and not cause (or allow) excessive noise or disruption. Music must not be clearly audible outside.
Parking is available on a first-come, first-serve basis in the centre parking, and is not guaranteed. Unrestricted free parking is found on nearby Green Lane, Lacey Drive, Sterling Ave and King’s Drive. Do not park in resident bays, grass areas or the double red line outside the centre.
In the event of excess noise, the customer will be directed to reduce the noise level. SCT reserves the right to lower the volume, stop electrical power, or terminate the event.
Fire exit doors must not be opened except in an emergency, and must not be obstructed.
No alterations to the centre, its fixtures or fittings, sticking things to walls or doors without consent.
Hire spaces must be left in the same condition provided – tables wiped down, floors swept, and rubbish removed to the bin sites provided. Bin bags, brooms, mops and other cleaning materials are available.
Music and other entertainment must finish 15 mins before the function end time, 10:45pm on weekends or 10:30 on weekdays, whichever is the earliest.
Outside spaces are public access and do not form part of any hired area. Nothing may be placed in any outside area or in the cafe space inside.
The Wilberforce Hall is a licensed place of Christian worship. As a result, no non-Christian prayer whatsoever is permitted inside the hall.
If you are interested in hosting a religious event please get in touch, as we are able to host religious events in our Goldsmith Hall, or host the religious part of your event in the Goldsmith Hall and other parts in the Wilberforce.
Conduct of Customers, Guest and Attendees
| The customer and guests agree to follow the reasonable instructions of Centre staff. Failure to do so may result in the immediate termination of the event. OneStonegrove has a zero-tolerance approach to any abusive or aggressive behaviour. |
Smoking, Alcohol and Drugs
The venue operates a strict non-smoking policy, including e-cigarettes/vapes.
The designated smoking area is the front of the building. Alcoholic drinks may not be taken or consumed outside.
The venue does not have an “alcohol licence”. Alcohol is permitted, but cannot be sold.
If any persons under the age of 18 are found to be drinking alcohol, the event will be terminated.
Illegal drugs and legal highs may not be brought onto or used on the premises. The use of drugs will result in the event being terminated.
Sustainability

By making payment on the quote provided, you are accepting these terms and conditions in full.
